What it is
Looking up events with a focus on outdoor activities — searched mainly by map location and time, plus the usual criteria: category, time span, cost, difficulty and so on. The map is the interface; everything else is a filter on top of it.
Who it's for
Ordinary, mostly non-technical people who like being outside. Needs around 100+ users before it feels alive.
Where it stands
The biggest project of the bunch. MVP is roughly three quarters done.
How I see the future
Free for everyone at the start. Later, once there are 1000+ users, travel agencies and anyone posting 5+ events a month could pay to have their events presented.
Anything like it out there
There may be something similar — I haven't researched it properly yet.
